カメラバッグをバスのトランクに入れるとき、運転手さんが降りてきて何か僕に世間話的なことを話しかけたけど、訛りが強くてまったく理解できなかった。とりあえず雰囲気に合わせて「そうですよね、ははは」と笑ったら、彼も同じように笑ったのでほっとした。日本人の持つ曖昧な気質はコミュニケーションの潤滑油になる。

Being back to Murroran.
　
When I get riding the bus, the bus driver talked to me. However he spoke in strong local accent. I could not understand what he said. So I just reposed "I think so, too. Hahaha!"
This is the best way to communicate with Japanese who have ambiguous disposition.
