本日の撮影終了。
遊んでいる子どもたちの撮影であった。

今日のように、「息子または娘が友達と楽しそうに遊んでいる様子」を撮ってほしい、という依頼がときどきある。
楽しそうに！
これが非常にやっかいだ。
写真で楽しそうに見せるには、被写体が笑顔でなければならない。
が、よくよく見てほしい。一時間遊ぶとして、子どもが歯を見せて笑っている時間が何分あるだろうか。
子どもが遊ぶというのは、大人が働くというのと同義である。
真剣であるがゆえに、笑顔になれる要素などほとんどない。
「楽しそうに仕事している」大人が笑っているだろうか。
　
子どもの友人世界は職場と同じだ。そこには楽しさのほかに、失敗、葛藤、不安、怒りなどがある。
かくして、「子どもが遊んでいる場面」の写真を見た大人は、子どもが全然笑ってないとがっかりすることになる。
ということがわかっているので、四十過ぎたおじさんが子ども達と影鬼／色鬼／氷鬼をして遊ぶのである。
しっかし、幼稚園児の遊びは流動的すぎて、追いつけないなー。

Finished today’s session.
Shooting the playing kids.

Sometimes I get the request to shoot the scene that their son or daughter have “fun” playing with their friends.
Fun!
But actually when I take the photos of kids, they don’t normally laugh.
They usually play “seriously” with their friends.
If the parents saw the taken photos, most of them might have been disappointed.
The kids play as we adults work.
There are failures, mental conflicts, anxieties, and angers, without funs in their play.
After that, I have to make the chance that the feel fun, in order to take the photos which they laugh.
