尾道へ。
隣に座った高校生の男の子が、スマホで僕の知らないアイドルの写真をいくつも熱心に眺めている。
僕が学生だった頃は、もっぱら雑誌のグラビアでしか見られなかった写真を、今の子達はネットでいくらでもダウンロードできるのだなと思った。
それは確かにいいことなのだが、別のものを失っているような気もする。スマホの小さな画面で見る写真より、雑誌の見開きグラビアのほうがより興奮できると思うのだが。

On the way back to Onomichi.
A high school boy sitting next to me are is seeing looking at pictures of an idol girl (who I don’t know) on his smartphone.
When I was a student, all model pictures were shown in magazines. Today, they can look st many pictures on the web site, and those are free of charge.
I‘m sure that it’s nice, but students of today may lose another thing. Can small pictures on the screen of smartphone satisfy me? The big spread pictures in magazines would move my heart more.
