テカポ湖へ。高速バスの始発である空港へ向かう。
乗ってから気がついたのだが、市街にもバス停があった。早起きしなくてもよかったのだ。
おまけにバスは遅れてやってくるし。

ニュージーランドの高速バスはネットで予約できる。
家にいながらにして海外のバスの乗車券を買える時代である。
20年前はそんなことはできなかった。
この先20年後はどうなっているだろうとバスに揺られながら思う。
