旭川のホテルにて

これはふざけているわけではなく、部屋が寒いため。
ホテルの空調設備は集中式。壁のボタンを押すと冷気が吹き出してきた。10月の旭川にどうして冷房が必要だろうか。
フロントに電話すると来週月曜日に暖房への切り替え作業をするとのこと。
これはパートのおばさんを責めてもしかたがない。「寒いですよね？」と聞かれたから寒いと俵万智の短歌のように返したが無論暖かくはならぬ。毛布なら貸せるというので借りてきた。
毛布をかぶってPCに向かっていると、木造二階建ての下宿で暮らした学生時代を思い出した。

The old hotel has central air conditioning system. I pushed the button, then cool wind was blowed!
Incredible! Here is Asahikawa (northern part of Japan).
Reception staff answered that the air conditioner system will turn to heating next Monday. OMG!
But she told me the blacket can be lent, and I covered myself with the blanket.
This is the best solution tonight.
