東海道本線興津駅 11:39

 

　
 
いつものように14時間かけて尾道に帰る。
　
上野から東海道線直通の熱海行きに乗るのだが、通勤の人たちで混雑している。
　
新型コロナウイルスの感染が拡大しているということでクラブや夜の飲食店が軒並み休業になっているけれど、満員の通勤電車は感染源には当たらぬらしい。
　
本当に感染拡大を防ぎたいのであれば、企業活動を全面的に中止して電車も運休させるべきであろう。対策とは名ばかりの行政のご都合主義である。
　
都会はともかく息苦しい。
　
電車が小田原を過ぎて、春の海を見下ろしながら走るとほっとするのである。
